Sit down at the table.
Be conscious of your body, sit up properly so that your food can move through your body easily.
Don’t be distracted by your phone. You should be enjoying the moment.
Just be conscious of the act of eating.
Chew your food at least 40 times before swallowing. It sounds like a lot of work even chewing 10 times rather than a few bites makes a difference. This stimulates your digestive enzymes which help break down your food.
Limit your portion sizes for an example; hold your two hands cupped together, that should an appropriate amount. Eat with a small fork or spoon to avoid eating too quickly.
Eat slowly and pay attention to when you are full. It takes at least 15 minutes of eating for that to reach your brain which tells you that you’re full.
When you eat something that makes you feel bloated remember that, and avoid it in the future.
Notice when something you’re eating or drinking makes you feel anxious or hyper. What lifts you up will also bring you down. Try cutting out the food to keep on an even physical path.
Notice when your mouth is sticky or if you have a headache, you’re probably dehydrated and need water first .
Water is essential for the function of every organ in your body. Getting enough water should be the first step in treating your skin from within. There’s literally no way for the skin to glow without proper hydration when you don’t take in enough water. Your blood draws water from the skin cells, and that leaves them looking dull and lifeless.
Dehydration makes the skin less elastic and less able to defend itself, making it more prone to wrinkling.
Dry skin, dry lips and flaky skin surfaces are a dead giveaway for dehydration.
People tend to think that water is boring so they choose sugary drinks or coffee. This not only ages your skin by killing collagen, but it triggers blood sugar and it doesn’t rehydrate.
